Gears of War 3 release date is official

Aw yeah, the wait is finally over.  Well, technically, it's just begun now that we have the official release date for Gears of War 3, but the wait for that date is over.  Mark your calendars for September 20 -- it's going to be a bloody ride.
The release window was previously for this fall, so it's not surprise that the date lands in September.  Yes, most of you will probably be back in school, getting your bearings after the summer months, and Epic is there to make you feel all better with the next Gears installment.
Be sure you've got friends to play with too, because Gears 3 will support four-player co-op for the very first time.  Oh, and you (or maybe just me) can finally play as badass ladies now.  Just putting that out there, in case you hadn't heard.
